That really cold lake where you stopped for lunch is where I grew up! Thank you for the wonderful reminder of my favourite road in the world, between Te Anau and Milford Sound. And the boat you were on was most likely skippered by MY DAD! Hes retired now in 2020, which makes this even more special

We saw mature wild sea lions fighting on the Otago Peninsula out from Dunedin, we were less than 50 metres of them. It was the highlight of our New Zealand trip.

I wish I could say Milford sound impressed me but with all the previous scenery I had seen and so much hype for the sound I was kind of like well this is just like everything else I've seen. The tiny airplane ride back to queenstown was absolutely amazing though!

Baldwin Street is the steepest street in NZ also you will love the Bed and Breakfast on that street. excellent host! great service! Comfortable rooms and tasty food yumyum:-):-)

You should have flown in from Queenstown, Not quite as hairy as Nepal but up there, especially back when the plane only got up to 6500 with 9 & 10000 ft mountains around you . Breathtakingly Beautiful place all the same.

Did he say there is not much at Dunedin? I think it is a lovely spot, Scottish influence, lovely old buildings (e.g., the train station) and of course the wonderful Otago Peninsula (amazing coastal vistas, seals, albatross, yellow-eyed pengiuns)

Really good footage of Milford Sound, Shame you drove from Queenstown, Te Anau would've been a better option to head to Milford from.
