Burt Ward, Robin the Boy Wonder, from Batman the Original Series, has a great time talking with John Cato in this Behind the Scenes interview.
Burt talks about all the mishaps and dangerous stunts he was put through that almost killed him on the Batman set and his beyond belief initial audition for Batman and the fact that it was his first television audition ever! In addition, Burt talks about his dear friend, Adam West, their special bond, hysterical pranks on each other and Adam's suspicious death.Burt talks about the Joker, the Riddler and all the famous guest stars on the show. Burt also discusses his present passion for saving large dogs and his company, Gentle Giants. If your a Batman fan you will love this!!! If you are a dog lover you will also love the last portion of the interview where Burt shows his passion for big dogs as well!!

Burt Ward is everything you want him to be. The friendship he had with Adam West is one of the great relationships in TV history. I could've listened to hours more stories

WOW....I was amazed by Burt Ward and his stories about starting off as Robin. I think I would have asked for stunt double pay the third day! lol. What a wonderful interview John. I was surprised to see it well over an hour. I could have listened to more! Wish I had known of this pet food back when we had our Sheltie, Bandit. Maybe he would still be with us today. He was 11.5 years old when we had to put him down due to arthritis in Dec, 2018. Am looking at the cat food now, as we have two indoor cats. They will be 8 years old this April. Going to check out the info. Thanks again! Looking forward to your next show.

Hi, John! I always laugh when I remember that at age 4 or 5, when TV's "Batman" was in its original run, I had a scary dream featuring Burgess Meredith's Penguin. Holy nightmare, Batman! And I wonder what Burt thought about working with the wondrous Julie Newmar, who would make a very interesting guest if you're able to get her. I actually have tried to get Julie Newmar but was informed she was not doing interviews. I will try again. That nightmare would have been very scary at that age, heck any age😂

I grew up watching the 1966 Batman movie às a a kid own it on dvd it has a special place in my heart childhood memories I watched the Batman series later on in life it was always the movie I grew up with I love the old series great classic show plus the movie burt ward is robin always will be robin no one can replace him pow bang bong eef always like when Batman says hand me down the shark repellent bat spray lol😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂gosh yes Batman come on robin to the bat cave we not a moment to loose yes Batman classic stuff
