There was an interesting conversation while you were waiting for the kind of dumpling snack in the street shop. Some middle-aged(guessing based on the voice) woman said that she didn't pay for what she ate and noticed some time later and came back to pay. And the owner said that some times it is happening explaining it was not a big deal! Cool!!! :)

The reason Seoul and Busan are quiet right now is because it is the holiday season, the longest holiday in Korea. During the holidays, families and relatives who are away come together to share all the most delicious food, so most people don't go to restaurants during the holidays., they share home-cooked food. There will probably be a lot of people on vacation until this Sunday and many stores will be closed.Your video is wonderful . I look forward to your next video.

unbelivable. on your stall for street food, did you notice that ? the lady client forgot to pay, and she came back to pay. and the owner grandma said " it's okay, i just thought that you forgot to pay. not on purpose. " What a cool vive :D made me smile. haha.

Hard beds are common in Korea. In Korea, there is a traditional culture of sleeping on the floor because Korea has been using an underfloor heating system(In Korean "On-dol").. The culture of daily use of Western-style beds is less than 100 years old. That's why I think Korean people prefer hard beds over soft beds. This is also the reason why Koreans do not wear shoes and stay barefoot in the living room.

Busan -->. SAN (mountain). From its name, the city is surrounded by mountains. So there are many uphills and downhills and many apartment buildings and houses built on the hills. Busan is indeed intriguing city shrouded with mountain and ocean

I'm a bit unsure if this will come up in the next video, but personally, I wish you could have visited more of Busan's beautiful beaches.. Busan has been known as the second-largest city in South Korea and has been famous as a summer vacation spot for a long time. Some of the prominent ones include Haeundae Beach, Gwangalli Beach, Songjeong Beach, Songdo Beach, Dadaepo Beach, and many more picturesque places along the coastline. I hope you get to see these beautiful beaches next time! Also, as the name 'Busan' suggests ('San' meaning 'mountain'), there are many mountains in Busan. Among them, there is Geumjeongsan, home to Beomeosa Temple, which has been standing for nearly 1500 years. The mountain's traditional Makgeolli (rice wine) is famous nationwide and tastes really good, so I hope you get to enjoy it next time!

That street food you ate is just called flat dumplings "napjak mandu". The red sauce she poured over it is from the spicy rice cake dish "tteokbokgi". It's kinds of a "food hack" that became popular to put that red sauce over everything you get at those stalls.

Haedong Yonggung Temple, Haeundae and Gwangalli beaches, Gamcheon Cultural Village, Seomyeon nightlife, Jagalchi Seafood Market, Geumjeongsan hiking, Nampo-dong for shopping, Busan National University, Busan Tower, Haeundae Blueline Park and Sky Capsule, etc. Busan is a beautiful, laid back but modern city. And yes, you must try bulgogi in Korea. It is extraordinary. Enjoy!

Nampo-dong is pretty much like Seomyeon. PNU (Busan National University) has a university district just like any other university in Korea (bars after bars). I personally wouldn't go Busan Tower unless I have nothing else to do or you love to look at the skyline. Yongung Temple is great. Gwangalli also has a seafood market, so if you don't have time to go to Jagalchi, you can have your seafood there. Pretty much the same scene, just a little smaller. Haeundae has some great places, including the small tram that runs along the seashore (I forgot its name). If someone has more time to spare in Busan, I'd also recommend Yeongdo district. Taejongdae and Hynyeoul village (I prefer it over Gamcheon), etc...

It was really fun to see that my home town on your channel. I grow up around Seomyeon where is most exciting and epic place in Korea not even in Busan. If you visit there at night, you would feel very different vibe on that site. And the place you ate the streetfood was my soul place i used to eat. The grand mother of food vendor has been there more than 30 years with her vendor. The spicy ddeokbbokki souce is very unique compair with others in another regions in Korea. I miss it so much ㅜ.ㅜ . Also, I heard very interesting conversation between grandmother and customer when you eating fried dumbling ( we call that "Napjakmandu") with ddeokbboki souce. The fact that the costomer came back to grand mother because she realized that she didn't pay for her food ㅋㅋ and grandmother didn't notice about it and she didn't care about it that much ㅋㅋ .This conversation very well represents Character of Busan people. It's quite pity that you missed Cafe street in Seomyeon T.T . It's opposit site. Come and visit Busan another day ^^

Just eating snacks on the street doesn't guarantee you to see true face of Busan. Hope you try to have foods that represent Busan city like Daeji-gukbab( broth with rice in it) or Milmyon(noodle) or various meat. And if you go to Jagalchi market at night, you can enjoy both the vibe of deep night sea and some hustle and bustle of nightly drinking market.

Hi Zane, I really appreciate your videos. Feel like I am there with you. You are doing such a wonderful job of showing us where you go and how to get there, sharing your experiences with us. Wish I could join you traveling around Korea! I haven't visited Korea for over 20 years so I will be completely clueless, but at least I speak the language. Haha Wishing you safe and fun times wherever you go! Btw, Lotte reads like Lo (as in lotion) + t + De (as in Dejavu) = Lotde 🙂

When the grandmother who sells tteokbokki came out, another lady ate it, forgot it, and left it without paying, but she came and paid for it.
