Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Phoenix Rising Construction Update 6.13.24 Testing Continues!

Phoenix Rising at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has seen a lot of progress this week with the station area, and we also noticed that work on the entry area of the roller coaster is starting to take shape. Air gates are in now, paint for the outside of the building looks to be complete, and fence posts for the ride restricted area are wrapping up. Ride testing continues, and we were lucky enough to see it in person during park operating hours!

I say its time for both BGT & SWO to look into some flat rides. They've hit the coaster train really hard, now look into some thrill flat rides.

Still a great ride, but riding it so many times does make it feel like an observation tower.

Looks like that is the new parking spot until the station is done. Great update Dan. Train was on the lift today also and many contractors in the ride area. We didn't catch any test runs while we were there.

Penguin trek now testing with two train operations. One train is running without test dummies.

I think it will open soon, maybe a month. Was thinking by July 4th but that is unlikely. They need to run 100s of cycles and train the ambassadors how to operate it. It will be at least a couple of weeks after B&M hands it off to BGT.
