It is a smashing one of a kind guide for protecting your family from danger minus the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my friend got great results with it.

6:35 - Should be noted that this dude forged the axe he is using. Then used the axe with a temp handle to make the real handle. Then forged a draw knife to help finish the handle. Then added some carbon fiber around the handle near the head. Then molded some PVC to make a sheath for the axe - 2 styles. I watched the Russian video of the process on his other channel, still real cool without getting one word of it. The English translated versions are awesome, keep them coming please Savage AF!

@@toomanychickens1771 I think you're looking at Saran Wrap, like you use in the kitchen. Look up plastic packing wrap; you want what they use in warehouses for wrapping pallets of goods. Amazon has a 4 pack of wrap that's 18" wide and 1500 feet long for $50. So that's just over $12 per roll. And that may not even be the cheapest thing out there. I would also check quill.com, which just sells office and packing supplies; they usually have the best deals on that sort of stuff. And I don't think that it will block any more light than glass does. Glass does block certain types of light, which is why hot-house tomatoes and other vegetables don't taste as good as ones grown out in the garden, but a greenhouse is still great for starting your seedlings so you can get a jump on spring planting, and for growing things you climate won't otherwise allow (like tropical plants). And in a survival situation, a greenhouse can help ensure you have food, even in the winter.

I have a Russian neighbor, who left her parents and husband, taking her kids to the USA, when Russia was taken down. She had to learn to be smart, and not take anything for granted. Her parents starved. She has quail, chickens, and rabbits in her yard with vegetables. After rewatching this video, I made a PVC flex pipe dome quickly. Last year I lost my 20 year old orchard, and Winter garden vegetables. Never have I seen winter vegetables freeze in my lifetime gardening. Making pipe hoops over my vegetables, and lean toward fence for citris protection. The Italians make frames above, and around their citrus, the English make orangeriums, or conservatories for oranges. Your videos are the Best of the Best! Thanks for the inspiration. Hope not to lose my plants this year. Lost a 28 year old hedge. I had great fun making the igloo shaped green house frame of dome and door opening only, in maybe an hour. Must tie the cross pieces and shear pipes tomorrow. Will tie the center better, and probably leave a vent to keep it from blowing away.

It is sooo interesting to see people respiond to such ideas and techniques that truthfully we used thousands of years ago.. and to see how excited people get. This tells me that "experts " continue to have it all wrong in thinking people are so hell bent on "futurism"... I see so many kids eyes light up when they see stuff like this.. its absolutely clear to me that mankind will always have a desire and need to think with his hands and build, to improvise, and to work off his basic instincts as a living being.. Some aspects to being a hum,an being will and can never be replaced or emmulated.. HUmans are so interesting and such unbelievably adaptable creatures, ones the world has never known . Thank you so much for getting people "back in tiune" with the beauty of being human. Your videos are amazing.. and I truly feel like they are SOOO important for so many people..

In the first moment, when I saw the transparent foil, I thought about the plastic waste in the wilderness. But the dome stood there for four years. Many cheap tents you can buy would collapse earlier. And then the amount of waste you would have to carry out would be much greater. So it is a great and inexpensive idea! And there is another advantage. Sitting inside the tent, you can see what's going on outside due to the transparency. In an ordinary tent you can hear that there is an animal close to the camp, but you don't know if it is a bear, a wolverine or a rentier.

Very, very, clever. Indigenous North Americans have made traditional housing, much in this same manner for many thousands of years, however, of course, without modern materials as you used on yours. It surprises me that it held up against heavy snow loading in your location, considering the lightness of the construction materials used. I use similar structural design, on a smaller scale, using PVC piping, logs of Western Red cedar, and polyethylene clear sheeting, for raising my tomatoes inside during the local growing season. The kayak is clever innovation, too. I already own kayaks, and canoe, for fishing but your build would serve well for that purpose, Maxi, if that were not the case. Great video.
