Important to note that your thigh is not an anvil, or a sheath. Some people seem to have not been taught this basic rule.

water sanitation pills work well. when i was doing wilderness survival as a teen for a couple of years we ended up on the Swanee River in northern Florida for 28 days and drank the alligator infested swamp fed river water the whole time using water sanitation pills.

I highly respect your content, yet as I have watched many campers and survivalists over the years. I have noticed that many content providers miss the drip line/ edge on the tarps they set up. Even most Hammock content providers miss this little tip. This tip for survival on the short tarps could really affect your comfort and survival. You get wet and your not in a good position in many situations. Personally I find 5 prussic knots on my main 30’ quick deploy ridgeline is cumbersome. So I carry extra Prussic loops to supplement my other ridgelines. Again not ideal but is a very useful tip to use/ carry with you. What are your thoughts?

Great video, thanks! Living in the Ozarks I am very familiar with broken or bent tent stakes lol. Some places you have to get creative and tie off on rocks, etc. Appreciate the info!

Shepherdwarrior... A heavy blade machete paired with a Silky saw is a much better choice and will do more for you than an axe or tomahawk.

With the Morakniv Classic, is it better to get the 2F with the finger guard for safety? Or does the finger guard just get in the way during some carving tasks?

Are you using Leather and waxed Canvas for any specific reason? I ask the question due to the fact they’re heavier materials than say Ballistic Nylons, etc. Is it a durability thing or just the aesthetic and love of classic materials? Love the kit by the way.. love the channel. 👍🏻🇺🇸

Inexpensive is a broad range depending on the users perspective, but the best carver on the market is the Council Tool Wood Craft Camp Carver.
