There’s are even more myths in Super Mario Bros Wonder for the Nintendo Switch that we need to bust today! Questions you've always wondered like can you actually jump and bounce off of water.
From myths like a way to get out of bounds in a glitch by using the Wubba wonder effect. To other secrets like a way to bear the parachute cap 2 stage without using the parachute cap and only using Yoshi. Were going to bust them all to see if they are true or false!

Maybe the fire is quicker, try breaking the block as fast as you can with many different methods. And you should stand directly next to the ice block with the fire power.

For the ice breaking one, you broke the ice block without a coin for the fire flower, and with a coin for the others, which I think changes the strength of the block

9:01 you forgot to take into account fireballs can be thrown out much faster than hitting blocks with the elephant or ground pounding

i think the last one is done by reviving when the block is on top, so you can’t respawn on the ceiling because the block is in the way

Apparently the music is from Mario's perspective cause if you have the drill power up and you make it where Mario is in the ground the music is quieter

afaik many Mario games use the same notes as NES Super Mario Bros pause sound, but their instruments are definitely different. Wonder definitely has a different instrumentation compared to NES. It's also a bit faster than NES.

@InfiniteBits Except for you pronounced "deluge" so incredibly wrong. Its actually pronounced "deh-looj", and it means an extreme downpour. Please - if youre not 100% sure how a word is pronounced, look it up. Its really jarring to be watching such a well done video and have a word be pronounced so wildly wrong. But other than that, great content so far.

The #4 myth he busted accidentally happened to me when I tried to beat the game since the first day of its release. I was gonna push the block all the way to the glowing space, but then I wanted to use the elephant power up so I can push it more faster but then I got stuck in there making me have to restart the level again (which was my first attempt in the level having me to recollect everything again 🗿)

Its def not "the same sound". SMBs is slower, on a differenr beat and a slightly lower pitch. They are similar but not the same.

Did you know you can do a double jump in the slime? If you go into a level with slime, for example: An Uncharted Area: wubba ruins, and go to the part of the level where the red pipes are and the slime beside it and you can jump into the slime on the ceiling and jump right after you get out of the slime you can get another jump in (This might only work with the flutter jump badge) Pls like this so I can get more ppl to know abt this

the yoshi thing isn't an oversight though, they just didn't bother making it work for yoshi/nabbit. i don't think they'd make a difference anyway the cheep cheeps are the sea urchins' adopted children!

Fun Fact: the "3 secret 1-Ups" are a staple of the Mario franchise; where (as the name suggests) 3 1-Up Mushrooms are placed right next to each other in hidden/out-of-bounds areas. It's essentaially the developers' little way of saying "You're quite the explorer, aren't ya?"

9:01 Perhaps the myth is referring to the fact that using the fire flower is inherently faster than pounding the ground. It may take more hits to break an ice block with a fireball, but overall it may be faster than trying to break it by pounding the ground

I remember that you can run on the water only in NSMB on the DS. You need a mini-mushroom, the powerup is quite funny, but really weak.

About that mythe that fireballs break ice faster. Yes with fireballs it takes more hit, but you had pauses between the fireballs & there can be up to 2 fireballs per player at a time, but at a range as close as the groundpounds & the elephant's ability, because they imeadiatly hit the ice which makes them no longer of screen, i think you can mash a little bit so Mario throws them rapidly & in that sense, fireballs are faster

i think u can beat the treaser valut level as yoshi u have to be yoshi and somebody else like an friend or famliy or your self playing with both then get the drill as the normal mode then drill then kill yoshi by crushing him due to the side of the screen then respawn him by getting his ghost
