Excellent video Belinda, what an interesting product! Since the colourant is vegetable based you probably add preservative input on the higher side so it won’t result in microbial contamination? Thanks for the great ideas as always!

No - you need butters to ‘set’ into the butter form and also ‘melt’ into the skin on application. If you use oils, it will just be oils in the gel and won’t stabilise.

I have a silicone powder I would like to add. Would this be added in the final gel phase or water phase or heated butter phase to keep its form? Also, can guar gum be used in place of the gum?

It needs to have a pump dispenser so the butter and gel phase mix easily on application.

Don't the butters melt when kept for stability at 40/75 or in a 50C Oven?

No - the input used is suitable that they don’t melt or cause instability in this formula.

This is a standard airless serum dispenser, please search on line there are thousands of different types available from large and small suppliers.
