I’ve used everything from corks with toothpicks in them to nails in small boards for my sub assembly. The square bases that come with the older kits are nice for sucking bits to for painting as well.

It's funny I'm doing 2 knight titans in the extreme sub assembly you where talking about, I think the most parts togather at one time are maybe 5 parts at the most

video is great, i got the expensive vice thing, I have to admit I like it but when I see some online painters using 5/6 of them I have to remember they probably got them for free at a GW event! what can I say.. cheaper options is the way to go

Nice review. I usually don't use any of the GW accessories as I find most of them are over priced and can found else where for cheaper. I'm not going for any painting competitions so I usually don't bother with sub assemblies unless its a leader or centerpiece type model. My basic troops just get done in a quick and simple paint job to get them on the table.

The free options at the end of your video are far more useful. GWs products seem so unnecessary. Even the handle is garbage, just use some bluetack and an old paint pot.

Hey man, I respect your hobby philosophy, I'm exactly the same. However I'd state at the start of the video if you have actually used the products your reviewing though, otherwise you can't really review it
