In ILLINOIS we use copper pipe for water supply and PVC for drain, also electrical runs thru rigid steel conduit, Looks like everyone else is using the cheap shortcuts...............very interesting.

Scary! Electrical wires are NOT inside some metal tubes. If any of those electrical wires is overloaded, it can get too hot, cause a fire, and take the whole house down.

The most important inspection is Foundation first, then framing.

Great vid but unless we hire back inspector to ensure it gets done. I heard inspectors can bring up all the code violations or corrections needed but whose to say the builder will correct unless we watch everyday and all day and know what we r looking for. Such a bummer that people who build don’t care of the dream and money spent and do crappy jobs!!

Between all the cost of radiant barrier and batts on that insulation on ceilings, they could have just spray foamed in between rafters.

I thought this was an inspection video. Sounds more like just an explanation of what your house comes with, no framing, window installation, proper ducting, or strike plate locations, important stuff. i can figure out what each electrical box does. not much help, really.
