Would love to see more frame walks. Excellent point to remember to take pictures. I missed my frame walk, traversing between California and Georgia. I sent relatives to do it for me. Small number of pictures taken. Interesting NV Power policy for the end of street cul-de-sac power box placements.

Gotta be careful with KB homes. They are one of the lower quality builders (at least here in Vegas). So definitely bring an expert like Chakits for a walkthrough! 👍👍👍

I’ve heard that the build quality of kB homes is known for being low quality. This may depend on location but this is what I’ve heard. And they have said the reason are because of things like. Cracks in the foundation, leaks, etc. and I’m multiple instances.
@justing98884 жыл бұрын
You heard right! Definitely one of the lower quality builders in Las Vegas.

Great video. I really enjoy seeing the bones of the houses. Question.. why did they insulate all the interior walls? Isn't that a waste of money/insulation?

@@scotttild We showed up every day when our hits was being built. 😳 We found lots of stuff that needed fixing and if we hadn't gone every day most of it would have been covered up. I took pictures at every stage especially after the wires were run through the house. I have some real stories from this build. We plan on building another house, hopefully our last in either Nevada or Lake Havasu City, AZ. We have 2 lots side by side that we're given to us from my dad. I love Vegas a lot but Lake Havasu is safer and really pretty. We can't decide where to live. Maybe Chauks can be our realtor in Lake Havasu. I don't know if he's licensed in Arizona.

Why don’t the builders change the way of building by using bricks instead of wood isn’t wood weak whatever bricks are stronger than wood
@chakits14 жыл бұрын
Because of climate.
@etiossmith41744 жыл бұрын
Wood is cheaper for builders, both for procurement and construction skills required.
