Before you write an "Itsuki" comment, the engine, drivetrain, brakes etc are all transplanted from an AE86. The number on the chassis doesn't mean anything.

@ArsenalsJack19926 жыл бұрын
Marvin Fernandez yeah I don't get that. You'd have thought they'd ban them all together if they're "unsafe". Another thing is if they can't recreate what made the older cars good exactly how they were, couldn't they implement features that minimise the potential harm, keeping the basic formula? I get that's what the new 86 basically is but things like the shape surely can't be that dangerous to keep the same.

It has nothing to do with the cars themselves. It has to do with the people. Just look how they react when Alexi is talking to them. They are sooo nice and respectfull! But maybe you don't see that. I do. And that's why Love Japan. If you bump into somebody on the streets here - you can get hit in the face for doing so. In Japan they mostly bow their heads and say they're sorry. (Most of the time).

This hurts so much. My first driftcar was a Hachi-Roku. A real EU version with the steering on the LHD which are VERY RARE over here in Holland / Europe. And I fitted it later with a 4agZe 1st gen. Kaaz LSD. TechnoToyTuning knuckles etc. It was the BEST CAR I ever owned and drifted - I also did a race with it and won 2 times 1st place and actually should've gotten a third trophy as I was the fastest from everybody that whole day. Oh the memories. Not to Brag and Boast but I just miss the car so much. I did laugh tho when you said hachi-roku and it was an 85 hahaha. Either way... I love your vids Alexi! Thanks.

This looks hella fun and Japanese people really know how to keep their car culture rich, I just love how they all seem to be so kind and passionate about their cars. noriyaro, keep posting more AE86 to us!

Awesome! You finally came to your senses and bougth an AE86. ;) I can hear you grinning on every corner you take, so it was a wise decision! The Initial D replica does have one flaw: the gauge cluster is a kouki version (vertical white stripes) while Takumi's car originally was a zenki model. The rest of the car is zenki and thus a good replica.
