he was wrong about a couple of things. the civic purchased in this video isnt an EM1 eaither. EM1s are the 99-00 SI. He has a D-series 96-98 ex coupe. Also the civics used in the first Fast and Furious that hijacked the tractor trailors were 92-95 ex coupes with body kits, which i always hated the body kits. they would of been way sicker with just oem or jdm bumpers and lip kits eith legit suspension and shit. not sure if they had a b-series swap or not but in the movie they made them sound as if they were boosted..who knows. but the iconic civic used for those scenes is the generation he already has not this one that he just bought

I don't like to be "that guy" but the cars in F&F were EJ1's. Same as your green coupe. I believe the non-Si coupes were EJ6. Si is EM1. Also, Vitara pistons, Eagle rods, ARP rod bolts, Cometic head gasket and, ARP head studs, is a classic cheap and effective/reliable build for D-Series. Only complaint is a slight ratting from the pistons when the engine is cold.

Evan that si bumer wont fit since the si was only made 99-00. And your car is the 96-98 gen and the front ends are different. The 99-00 front end has a meaner and more aggressive look and has fog light pockets in the bumper. I have mine converted to the 99-00 and I definently reccomend doing it changes the whole look of the car! Also the 99-00 rear bumper is different but it will fit.

@@gilbertdarmawan8141 I've been out of the scene for a while but if I remember, you'll need... Fenders, hood, headlights, 99-00 core support and, front bumper to complete the conversion. You can get away with keeping your 96-98 core support but you'll have to do some trimming, drilling and, massaging to get things to fit and line up properly.

I never let it distract me. Swapping to manual is pretty fun process, Honda are fun because there is so many parts, they are pretty much lego's and you can do a lot with little investment. Edit: that kit doesn't come with charge pipes.

Hell yeah man, I own a 2005 Scion tC and recently swapped it to manual from auto. Sure was a pain gettin the auto trans off and had to use an oxyacetylene torch on the rear mount studs since they were seized. 10 lb flywheel and a stage 2 exedy clutch.
