Alix and Rie actually are like the best pair on this channel lol. Alix is what seems to be the more confident and outgoing, funny and relatable friend. Rie is kinda like the more quiet, mom friend who’s unintentionally and just naturally a comedian. They balance each other out but still complement the other.

Dear KZfaq commenters, The point of Tasty is to show recipes that anyone can make or to educate people on more difficult recipes so they can get them right. Here, we have an example of someone trying to create a recipe where they have no experience, in order to make all the mistakes a regular person would make, and perfect the recipe. This does not make her "dumb" and it does not make the video bad.

i'm not sure what brand agar was used in this video, but in my experience, if you want it clear you can never stop stirring while it's still on the stove. 1. Make sure to get the clear Agar powder because not all of them are clear 2. Bring the water to a boil 3. Slowly pour the powder into the boiling water, while you are still stirring. Stir with a flat implement, not something like a whisk. And do not go in circles, do a figure eight type stir, change the orientation regularly so it's not always just the same areas. 4. Slowly pour the sugar into the boiling water, while you are still stirring. 5. Continue to stir for another minute or two until you're sure it's all dissolved. 6. Turn off the stove AND take the pot off the hot one to another one that hasn't been turned on recently. Also turn the stove off before you stop stirring. 7. Let it sit for another minute or two. 8. Pour into mold. 9. Let mold sit in room temperature to slowly cool down until the top has solidified and is slightly bouncy when you lightly tap it with the back of a spoon. 10. Move to fridge.

Carrageenan Extract is a good Option, as it’s shelf stable, doesn’t degrade when reheated and gels crystal clear. I’m not a fan of Agar at all. It also tends to be cloudy
