Thanks man! This is pretty much my story except that I’m probably about 25 years older and without a camera. I’ve been stuck in retail all of my life and I want out! Short clip hype videos or trailers or anything like that has intrigued me the last few years. Thought I wanted to write screenplays (maybe still do) but took a crash course in filmmaking a few years back and fell in love with the editing side of it. Thanks for telling your story bro, I’m hoping it truly lights a fire up under my ass. Keep up the good work!

Its crazy that STUDENTS came and made a video and the owner wasnt even satisfied then you came through with self determination and made the video he was looking for. I feel like someone that learns a program on their own stands out ahead of those that get formal instruction. It shows more drive and professionalism.

This issue I have is that I jumped into a career that realistically I should have thought about A LOT more. The career i'm currently in i have to say isn't what i thought it would be. Since i was 14 or 15 I've had an interest in video production (Editing, Camera work ETC). And i have to say i am deep down regretting the decision to dive into what i have done. This is because i find myself wanting to do something like this in the production space. I'm currently in college on like an apprenticeship and its kind of a contracted thing where i cant leave without paying a substantial sum that i CANNOT afford. So it feels like I've signed my life away and Im not really going to enjoy what my current career has to offer at the end of it. It's a shame but mistakes are made in life I suppose. I'm 19 now so i'm just hoping that this isn't too late to maybe one day in the next year or 2 jump in and start something new!
