By viewer request, showing you an in depth look at my teacup collection. The backstamp gives lots of information on the history of these treasures. Learn tips for collecting along with a bit of history on the factories. Showcasing the English beauties! Brew a pot of tea and join me for fun with teacups and saucers. See which one is my favorite. It's so hard to choose!
The Wedgwood Florentine Turquoise is also a favorite. This is the last teacup featured in the segment. You will hear me continue to discuss a bit of background on Wedgwood, specifically Jasperware. Though, this is clearly not the iconic neoclassical piece I am holding. You know I like to ramble on about these lovely cups. I think I need a second display cabinet. What a beautiful video. Thank you, Lady Mary Beth, for sharing more of your lovely teacup collection (and knowledge about the products) with us. I love those Royal Trust pieces, and the Royal Stafford cup and saucer is very beautiful with the blue and gilded finishing (I also like the fluted-edge foot on the cup). You're so right about checking the backstamps when considering a purchase. It's worthwhile to check the internet to find information, which can be done easily. For example, using a search engine and typing in "Royal Doulton backstamps" should bring up a selection that shows the backstamps by various years of use. The RCD Vine pattern is a favourite, and I have a couple of pieces that combine that with the RCD Derby Posies pattern. The flowers on my pieces are hand-painted and signed. All of your pieces are very beautiful -- thanks again!

I have some cups & saucers that were my mother's, from the Colclough company, and a lovely simple, hand-painted one from Radford's. I meant to mention earlier that there is a KZfaq channel for the Royal Collection Trust, in case you and other viewers are interested. They have some very interesting videos. I do love floral teacups (I only collect floral) so I have a lot of Royal Albert teacups and the rest of my collection is mostly other teacups from England. I really enjoy your channel. We enjoy popping over to France each summer. Your country is beautiful! 🇫🇷 I want to get back to Cafe Namur in Metz. They have the most delicious chocolate eclairs. I would suggest selling on eBay or Etsy. You could also list on a Facebook Beg, Barter and Trade in your area which is free. Buyers can pick up off you porch or you can meet them somewhere convenient.

Thanks for your kind message. To find the value of a china piece, use the backstamp information and search online. Check eBay and Replacements.com to get an idea. If looking to add pieces, shopgoodwill.com is worth a look. You might add to a pattern affordably with thrift store shopping. 🍽

Glad you asked! Many of these cups were found at antique shops, shopgoodwill.com, Etsy and eBay. Two were gifts from a dear friend. Such fun to collect!

Never thought much about that with bone china. Guess it could be a concern if it is hand painted after production.

I grew up with Myott Rural Scene i loved it as a kid and i still do. I know quite a few Brits in this my old age. I am baffled that none of them remember the style or name even if i show them pictures. That factory burned in 1949 this might be part of the reason. Is Myott totally unknown in Britain today? Oh nm saw another of your videos. You're not British so you would not know LOL
