This is BYD Han EV first time revealed to the European market in France at Paris Auto Show 2022.
BYD or Build Your Dreams is a Chanise fast pace growing startup company focused on building electric cars same as Tesla.
BYD is entering the European market, and Han is their premium sedan, this is already a Facelift of the first Han model that was sold previously only in China. This is the top spec with Dual Motor producing 380 kW or 517 HP, 0-100 km/h in 3.9 sec. It has an 85,4 kWh LFP battery offering 521 km of range by WLTP (662 km city).

That character under the hood is the character for Han (汉) , using a peculiar style standardized in Qin dynasty (about 220 B.C.)

I would prefer it with the Chinese character as the Logo. It is much beautiful and meaningful that way. But nevertheless, it's a beautiful car. Definitely better than the overhyped Tesla.

感到荣幸很正常，起码比亚迪给中国提供了十万以上的高薪工程师岗位以及几十万稳定的汽车生产岗位，并且大量出口许多国家，就这一点来说，感到荣幸很正常，和德国人为奔驰感到荣幸，美国人为苹果手机感到荣幸一样。

The deep pocket on the left side of the trunk is for the charging cable. The foam storage cut out in the trunk is mainly for the fix it flat repair kit, which is removed at auto shows. There is no spare wheel/tire in the car.

BYD has seriously good build quality. They even use LFP batteries. Only thing I personally dislike is the infotainment GUI that looks like cheap Android. But they can fix that.

I have to be honest, a lot of the sounds I'm hearing like the thud of the car door, clicks of opening various compartments, etc., inside the car make it sound cheap. I mean, that sunglasses compartment sounds like an old Hyundai or Mazda. I also think a lot of those mirror finishes give it a cheap look. Overall not convinced this is a luxury vehicle but it may be a worthwhile competitor in the non-luxury segment

This car in China is slightly cheaper than a petrol 3-series or C-class, making it very competitive. If it's priced at the level of 5-series or E-class then it's not.
