I took the above picture in my garden, however, I do not own the copyright to the recording of Katie doing the work with people. They are from old tapes, CDs and downloads that were free for sharing and the quality is not the best. I still can't believe just how Katie makes self-realization so simple and yet we struggle to get there for a large part of our lives/ We have been unaware for so long, we have forgotten that its not that difficult to awake!

I agree with 90 percent of Byron Katie’s work. What I’m struggling with is the part of not being able to tell your partner what you want/need out of your relationships. If you are that comfortable with yourself and don’t NEED to be the other half in a relationship, what’s the point of being in one? What’s the point of if you don’t require any standards for what you need in a relationship? That’s why we all are in relationships, right? To get something from them. Relationships are there to make you better, right? They’re there for you to get something out of them, right? I feel like once you get to this level of the work, you don’t need to be in a relationship.

You don't need to anymore. But you might be in one. You might also find that relationships with other people become easier and therefore a relationship arises. If you are still in one it will become easier. Because you no longer need or want what you thought you needed to "get" from them. and they can't "make you better". And the standards you have set for them you realize that they were either a thought form you dont need OR it was a standard you had set for YOURSELF. And you realize the futility of trying to get them from another person.
