Innocent bystander would mean he was not getting involved yet still getting stabbed. He involved himself and got killed being a stand up guy. This is the reason you stay out of it.

Looking at the video and listening to what the reporter said. He wasn’t an innocent bystander. He was throwing some punches at the guy. Then he chased him with other people. Of course his family are going to say he was minding his business. But the video shows something else.
