BYU moved to 2-0 with a 26-20 win at Baylor. Oregon improved to 1-1 with a 70-14 shellacking of Eastern Washington. Oregon needs this game to avoid falling 2 games back in the Pac-12. Oregon is a short home favorite, but are they the right NCAAF pick?

The real issue/question is whether the Ducks can pass against the BYU secondary because the BYU linebackers are going to stop the run and limit the short passes. I seriously doubt it. BYU 35, Oregon 17.

BYU has the better QB and the better secondary, which should make a huge difference. I would never bet on this game, however, since the home field advantage will account for something, plus no one knows who the Ducks are at this point.

Spoiler Alert: BYU is a better road team than home team under Kalani. Most years I would say BYU drops this and a couple other head scratchers. But our DL is way better than it has been the last 2 years. And other than our top 2 WR's, the team (especially the D) is healthy. BYU 41 OU 17

If BYU can keep Oregon from consistently getting to the edge on offense, I think it's a fairly easy BYU win. If Oregon's speed can find that green space on offense, I'd lean Oregon.

I can't believe how much emphasis people are putting on the goergia loss. We haven't seen Oregon play. We will see the best Oregon has to offer this Saturday. Byu best game was last week and people are in love but they don't have the talent. I trust Bo nix and Oregon off practically a bye week. I wonder if people feel the same if they barely lose that Baylor game.

I am not sure about not having the talent? 🤔As far as know, this is the same team that beat Utah then Utah went on to destroy Oregon twice. I am only leaning towards the DUCKS here because they have the home-town advantage. If Nacua and Romney are out, this is Oregon's game.

@@LibertarianUSA1982 I can only go by what I see. I have no horse and I have no idea what to expect from Oregon. They have talent new system. This is a must win from a good program and really a let down spot for byu who played their butts off last week while Oregon was preparing there system. Win or lose byu in a close game doesn't hurt them too bad. They still have Norte dame and Arkansas.
