This aircraft is so nostalgic for me! I grew up near an Air Force base and I have awesome childhood memories of watching the C5 fly around our area. Awesome video 👍🏻

Sorry I missed it live but grateful for this video. I used to live close to Norton AFB and March AFB and the C-5 had such a distinctive sound!!! Great memories!

Great video capture Kevin! The angle of the landing lights cutting through the haze along with the clarity of Nighthawk really make the shot spectacular. Honestly thought all the C-5s had been retired. Great to see them still flying.

We had one land at YVR earlier this year. Maybe last year. Anyways very rare! Although not rare to see at YXX for Girls fly 2 or the Abbotsford International Airshow

That's a C-5M (upgraded C-5B or C) which were originally built between 1985 and 1989, so not quite 40 years old. Beautiful landing footage.

Remember only 50 were built between 85 and 89 there are 52 C-5 in inventory so that means two of them are from the 70s
