Yes, I agree with you 100% because this car stock is an 11 sec car, same as vett! Obviously the Demon is a much faster car at 9.65 stock, and then the 179 Demon 8.42 times even faster w a 11% bigger supercharger and 14 psi boost compared to the old Demons 11 psi! Once they go all electric their times will be Earth shattering!

Not true at all, the C8 is better than the C7 in every way. I've been a Corvette owner and enthusiast for a long time. I've been to the factory and museum, drag races, other types of races, etc. Coming from that experience, the C8 is a superior platform. But no Corvettes are built from the factory for drag racing. That's up to the owner. This is a stock 495hp C8 base model vs a highly modified 1000+hp Challenger with full drag slicks. It's not even a comparison.

Corvettes aren't built from the factory for drag racing. That's up to the owner. Here we see a stock 495hp C8 base model vs a highly modified 1000+hp Challenger with full drag slicks. It's not even a real comparison. Built for different purposes. The Corvette would kill the Challenger on a race track with curves or the back roads, because that's what it was designed for. Apples to oranges.
