I wasn't surprised to see you tackle this, but without a parts explosion to show what goes where it is a more difficult task. As you pointed out, taking it apart is the easy half of the repair. I am eager to see you get it all back together and working. I expect to see you driving it soon.

Really enjoy this type of video Clint! Have seen tons of automatic transmission teardowns but your Manual was really interesting to see. Hope it goes back together ok and your up and running again soon. Love your banter with Kevin but enjoyed seeing Randy stepping in. He is a heck of a worker. Well done. PS I had to laugh when you said you didn't know if you were going to tear it down...I knew that there was no way we weren't seeing the inside of that transmission!! LOL

Clint, As a retired accountant, my early exposure to a small engine class in jr high gave me the basics of a combustion engine, but your knowledge and the ease which you display in a wide range of problems amazes me. Your expertise in your craft is right up there with any Masters or PhD in the academic world and so much more refreshing in today's hyper charged political society. God bless you and your family.

“we don’t need no stinkin manuals” (slightly revised line from an old movie classic “Blazing Saddles”). Clinton, I know from watching your videos over the year or two, that you can take apart, and re-assemble any Cat or John Deere (and probably any other heavy equipment brand) transmission…, with your eyes closed…, and I think I know, that you probably haven’t tore into or apart, one of these Mercedes transmissions…, in your lifetime… I say all of the above to say, that this video is just amazing to see. You have “no fear”, it is pretty impressive & awesome to see that in action, which is why I keep watching, and I suspect is why you have the viewership that you do. Course the alternative of $13K spent at the dealership, might have been a motivator too… hahaha.! If I didn’t say it already, Great video..! Looking forward to the follow-up video. Thank you sir.
