I'm going to show you guys how to change your cabin air filter. you might be in the same situation and your truck has a weird musty smell.

you could use a meguiars air refresher and odor eliminator i used that in my truck because it was a smokers truck and i used two of them like a week apart and the scent went away completely

I tried changing my Cabin Filter on my 03 Silverado i was told only 99-02 use cabin filters ,03 and up had stoped using Cabin Filters

Exactly! I have an '05 and it doesn't have one nor look anything like this example. Misleading title resulting in a total waste of time.

@@seanrobbb Good morning sir! If this reply was directed to my comment, thank you for responding. However, according to two certified GM mechanics, the 2005 Silverado does not have a cabin air filter. Further, my NAPA, AutoZone and O'Reilly stores inform me that my model does not have a cabin air filter. Perhaps that is different for the '03? In any event, the under dash in your video is nothing like my 2005.

My 2006 Silverado air conditioning doesn’t smell, but it stops working off and on. Had the coolant replaced and didn’t help. The fan works fine. When the air stops, fan still going, the air seems humid and smells slightly wet. Thinking it might be the cabin filter causing the cold air to kick off?

There is a little door controller that fails on these trucks. You can get hot air instead of cold randomly.

Buy one of those meguiars scent bombs from oreillys and do it in the truck, You open the can and let it sit inside the truck with the ac on blast and circulation so it gets inside all the vents, It worked for my car

Yep. My 2006 silverado regular cab work truck doesn't have a cabin air filter. I spray lysol in the fresh intake vents at the base of the windshield to kill mold and bacteria a few times during summer months.

I have some recommendations for you clean up your DIRTY language, STOP complaining and APPRECIATE what you have in life. And if you want to kill the smell buy a small ozone machine and and turn it on for a few hours. They work good homes that have pets as well. Just DON'T run an ozone machine with people or animals around.

I run my ozone machine in the house on level one, it’s lightening air brand, I am going to put it in my truck pretty soon and see how that works and turn it up on 100% ozone

@@AdrianAichLF inside behind your dash is a tiny radiator that helps heat your car when you run your heat,these tent to spring a leak or go bad even have leaking hoses sometimes,so if your getting like a rotten egg smell it's either that or time to change cabin air filter
