In this episode of Cabin in the Woods, we are able to finish the Versetta Stone on the chimney. It was a lot of work but turns out awesome. I think my victory was short lived when I realized I would be doing the same thing on the interior as well!
Still absolutely loving the cordless Dewalt Coil Roofing Nailer for these types of applications. It hasn't failed us yet and we've already ran a box or two of nails thru it.

As a legally blind sub, I can tell you that losing my vision sucks, but I’ve learned to adapt over the past decade. There are even tech advances that help for those who are into building or crafting. The detail you guys go into would take some time since many things are visual, but I think would be possible. Someday, I’d like to get back into building furniture. Building or general construction is of interest to me, but never had any sighted experience in doing it. Living vicariously through you and Greg. 😎👍🏻

The chimney posts look awesome great Job !

Be interesting to see the flashing detail between the shoulder stone and the metal side wall. Impressive results on the stone work.

I think a piece of angle flashing should have been installed and striped in to put that water out on top of the stone. Also ice and water on the substrate over the vertical stone before shoulder stones were set. Looks like fun..my twitch is dickin

Cutting corners running felt vertical on the chimney near an area where water infiltration is most likely. Could end up chasing a leak everybody thinks is at the shoulders when in fact its vertical wall below the chimney cap.

Good man, love the eyeball-wear!!! Knew a guy who had an air-compressor powered gun hit a piece of steel and it went in his eye. Fortunately it stopped there but he essentially lost use of his eye. All that pesky OSHA eye, ear and fall-protection stuff and regulations always seems like such a pain in the butt until you have an accident and then you realize what they were nagging about. Stay safe, guys!!! Darn, that chimney looks great!
