Arcade building series - PART 2: Cabinet and Pedestal building the base and cabinet
In this video we will continue with the monster 2 player Arcade cabinet build and with the 4 player pedestal. In part two we will see the Arcades really come to life. In the first 10 minutes of the video, we will build the pedestal base. The second part (10 min) we will finish the upright cabinet.

In this multi-part video series, I will show you how these projects come to life. Step by step.
In part one, we are building the control panel boxes, miter cuts, pocket hole connections, joystick preparations with threaded inserts, and routing the T-Molding slots.
In part two, we will finish the pedestal base and upright cabinet
The material we are using is ultra high-quality black painted MDF
difficult to find but extremely nice to work with.

Awesome craftsmanship Daniel! Also, that tool you called an electric file, we call a hand planer in the US. Most people would just call it a planer, but of course there are non-electric planers and table planers as well :)

Had no idea that black mdf existed, would have loved to use that to avoid the painting. That hole cutter works great with a drill press, like a hot knife through butter. I'm getting ready to install all the components to the cab, will send you pics soon! Great videos and cabs, keep them up Daniel!

Beautiful work. Is that a different workshop. Don’t remember it being that wide. I thought it was bigger or more square. Maybe it’s just the camera angle that we never seen before.

Hi Alex, I really like Fusion 360. It will take you a bit of time and effort to get used to it, but damn, it makes your life so easy!

Very nice build. I wish I lived in a town where I can find these black mdf panels, ordering is not an option, shipping would cripple my wallet 😅How high is the cabinet you built? about 185 cm?
