I had the honor of meeting Gary at Airventure a couple years ago. Had a good chat with him. I always look at nose art differently now.

Without the CAF and Gary Velasco, redoing the nose art on aircraft , history would not be told. I personally believe in what they are both doing . Teaching the history of these great planes. History is important, we must not forget it. J. W .

looking at "Dallas Doll" images on line many still show it in black rather than the correct red.
