Tonight's video is about recreating one of our belived cafeteria favorites, Cafeteria Baked Spaghetti. It is so good!

Cafeteria Baked Spaghetti
12 oz Spaghetti noodles
1 pkg cream cheese with chives
1 lg onion Chopped
2 lbs ground beef
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 Tbls of chili (I'll omit next time)
2 cups shredded cheddar divided
5 tsp worchestershire sauce
1 cup ketchup
2 tsp mustard
1 cup beef broth
1 cup pizza blend cheese
watch video for assembly instructions.
Preheat oven to 350° bake for 25 to 30 minutes .

Leslie I’m so glad you clean out your containers.I see these others cooking and claim to be on a strict budget but they leave so much behind. With the world in such a sad condition and people hungry I can’t stand to see any food wasted. Thank you

I had some leftover taco mix from the night before.I didn't want taco 2 nights in a row so this following dish I made, and it turned out really delish. For the two of us, I buttered a 8" x 8" pan, cooked a little over half pound of spaghetti, set them aside. Then took taco meat , sauteed some chopped onions and chopped red pepper then thru taco meat in the pan mixed them together and heated. Next I took a small not quite full sour cream and mixed in some shredded cheese( Mexican mix but any cheese cheddar etc would work then mixed sour cream and cheese into the cooled, cooked spaghetti. Threw on the taco mix. I had a small can of tomatoes sauce waiting if I needed it,but I didn't. I sprinkled parmesan on top and some canned fried onions and baked at 375 25 min.

Hey Leslie, it does look really good !! 👍 I love the potato chips on the floor. Haha..!! Those sweet grandkids are prices. I've learned to put my grandkids snacks in a zip lock bags instead of bowls and things like that. It was easier for them and me. lol ! 😆😉 It's nice to see your family again. God bless ya'll. ❤🥰

That’s the craziest spaghetti recipe I’ve ever seen….I’m like you…sometimes the weird recipes just kind of pull me in and I think “I’ve got to try this! “ and usually they end up being good! I may be giving this one a shot too…

I am so excited you posted this and look forward to trying it! The K & W Cafeteria in my area closed permanently during the pandemic. I really enjoyed eating their Baked Spaghetti and think this will taste like it. I miss K & W terribly.

Looks yummy! If anyone is eating low carb/low glycemic index, red lentil pasta could sub for spaghetti. Red lentil pasta tastes good, won't spike blood glucose, and absorbs the flavour of the sauce. Could also use spaghetti squash or zoodles. Tfs! 🙂🍝

Wow! Wow! Wow! I love K&W (oppps I said their name - lol). Baked spaghetti. The last cafeteria near me closed last year. I think I cried for a month. We used to go there a lot when I was growing up. It was an excellent restaurant option. Thanks for sharing!

@@TheFarmingPastorsWife The food was always delicious - really too many favorites to name like the big yeast rolls, the dessserts and the cold bar - congealed salad and 7 layer salad. Yum. A true loss. I think I’ll be passing thru on the way to Charlotte next week -maybe you could toss a plate of spaghetti thru my window as I drive thru your town. Lol Sadly - heard Johnson’s burger joint in Siler had an awful tradgey last week. Very sad. We used to go there a lot too. Take care.✌️

I make a similar K&W baked spaghetti recipe that's floating around the internet. The ingredients are pretty much the same except you use less Worchestershire and chili powder and more ketchup, mustard and beef stock. It's pretty much spot on compared to the cafeteria.

I can’t help but wonder after baking the spaghetti did it come out dry?? I’ve made baked spaghetti b4 and it’s always dry. I was surprised not to see tomato sauce or something besides ketchup in it. Well you all enjoy. I don’t think this one is for me. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day.

Yum I just love those glasses ( I like the other pairs too ) but these are my favorite Would you happen to know what the name brand is ?i know where you get them I don’t have Maxim pans but I have Royal Prestige ( same difference but maxim better price I like mine as well but the 12 inch fry pan is heavy

When this recipe calls for two chilies could it be they’re wanting the actual chili pepper most people just call them chili I think I’m going to make it tonight and I will use Italian seasoning instead of chili powder

That is different. When you put all that ketchup in, it made me think of Honey Boo Boo's spaghetti. I think hers was noodles, ketchup and margarine which sounds disgusting.
