This certainly wasn't a wasted video. I'm glad to see when something doesn't work, so I know what not to try (I don't need to catch a husband anyhow, and mine wouldn't have been caught by this since it has so much coconut in it; my husband absolutely hates the taste of coconut). Nonetheless, this was a very entertaining video & I'm sorry you felt as though you wasted your time, but we like hearing and seeing your reaction to things that just don't seem right to you.

Leslie, I made the patty melt sandwiches for hubs and myself for supper tonight. They were so juicy and delicious! He asked me if it was a special kind of meat? No, it was the Costco ground beef that I always use for hamburgers. ( I divide the bulk package in to 1/ 0:06 # and 1# packages; write the date and size on the freezer bags and freeze them.) I’m not sure why these patty melts were so much juicier and tastier than my regular cheeseburgers… but they were! 🤷♀️ Maybe it’s because I used the griddle? Anyway, I guess this is how I’ll be making cheeseburgers from now on! Btw…I did not have any Texas Toast so I just grilled some Wonder Bread! Thanks again for another wonderful recipe! ❤️

HI...I live "up north" in the midwest....for the first time my Cub grocery store started carrying Dukes mayo for the very first time ever!! I bought some and am giving it a try ...I grew up using Miracle Whip so this is a change.

I love that you are willing to try it! It's a BIG change from Miracle Whip. But I deviate a bit from southern tradition because there is one specific sandwich that I prefer Miracle Whip over Dukes. But all other times, it's Dukes. Thanks for giving it a try. I find we usually prefer what we are used to.
