How to Make GREAT Shrimp Scampi

Shrimp Scampi
1.5 sticks of butter browned
3 cloves of garlic minced
1 Tbls worchestershire sauce
1 tsp of dry mustard
1/4 of a tsp red pepper flakes
2 Tbls white wine vinegar
2 lbs extra large shrimp
salt and pepper
1 lb Spaghetti

I have heard from many cooks say that you should not put salt into your pasta w after until the water is boiling because the salt can put pits in the bottom of your post if it sets on the bottom without the water moving. Love your enthusiasm you bring to your videos. A regular viewer.

Great mother's day 😊 not so much relaxing...family fencing day... I think that was kind of a father's day since it was all for hubby 😍. I stayed in and made delicious beef on a bun. All my my beautiful daughters (5) brought salads. Was lovely

That's the same shrimp I purchase. It's amazingly inexpensive for a seafood product. I just saute some with fresh asparagus & fresh mushrooms & garlic & serve over pasta. Quick & easy tasty meal. Shrimp scampi is one of my favorites when eating out. 🍤🍤🍤🍤🍤🍤🍤🍤🍤🍤

Smart (and delicious) to add the extra veggies. That along with a little salad is a wonderful and pretty nutritious meal.I like to add chopped tomato at the end as well as a little fresh parsley or chopped green onion when we have it.

Oh Leslie you have to try this recipe if your family likes Rice Krispy squares. You just use your normal recipe but you brown your butter and when brown add 1/2 cup brown sugar the when brown sugar is melted add your marshmallows and make as normal. Then when done mix in another bag of mini marshmallows mix and pour out into your buttered pan. They are so good.

I had shrimp thawing thinking I was going to make an alfredo sauce until I saw this yesterday afternoon. It was delicious! Hubby likes "sauce" so not a fave for him. I'll have no problem eating the leftovers. :) Thank you for sharing!

Looks lovely mmmmm, i almost always have shriveled lemon 🍋 oops ...never goes to waste. I pop them in the freezer and when i need some lemon juice i thaw in the microwave 🙂

One of our favorites, try garlic noodles and grill the shrimp serve with a steamed vegetable. Please check where your seafood is from, some areas have terrible growing conditions.

I have a question about the recipe. The written recipe has dry mustard and I thought you said brown mustard? Just want to make sure when I make this. Your recipe is different from mine. I love shrimp scampi. My husband just hated it. So, I sacrificed and never made it home made but would have it if we went to Red Lobster. Thanks for the recipe Leslie! I am on Keto so will for go the spaghetti. I dont think I have ever had shrimp scampi with spaghetti. But, it has been years.
