I would bench Boston and Wheeler. I'd play Nalyssa Smith at center or just go with two quicker forwards. Boston aint it. Wheeler also needs to be benched. Take out Boston and Wheeler and let other players play.

The team lacks confidence and this is fostered by the coach. Telling players what to do during the game is too late. Good coaches focus on practice to improve, games for strategy. Liberty is well coached, very little dribble, players work away from the ball. Defensively smart, and aggressive. The fever need tenacity, deny the ball. I love Boston, but she needs to own the paint, like if you come in, you are paying for it. All the bigs need this mentality. Why was the third so successful? Those players had tenacity, they were anticipating, and antagonizing. Liberty was not expecting this and they put out.

I think the problem is that Caitlin needs a break and needs time to develop for the next level. Her shooting percentage is not good now even when she has open shots. She was just playing in March madness not that long ago and she’s been on a whirlwind media tour ever since. WNBA rookies don’t have time to learn and develop like NBA rookies do. Indiana is a young team and they haven’t had time to gel, and they’re playing against teams who have had years to develop and gel.

Question for everyone in her. Is Clark bigger, stronger or faster than WNBA players? Does she have the most elite handles? If your answer is no, then there’s your answer to why she sucks. She can shoot the three but she can’t create her own shot. She can’t even beat double teams. She’s not faster than most WNBA guards. She’s not stronger than WNBA guards, and she’s not taller than everyone else. And her basketball IQ is questionable at this point because she can’t run an offense yet. What she did at Iowa was simplistic and their offense was basic as hell.

Sides isn't the one missing shots and not playing defense. There were way too many easy points for the Liberty.
