She's not a good role model for the sport. There is no "I" in the word team. Who are the other players on her team? I can't name ONE of them. She's not a bad player. She can score. So? Basketball is a team sport. Everyone on the team that's a winning team, is special. I think the team she was on was poorly coached. My point is, if CC was out because of injury, who on that team could replace her? That's why UCONN has so many National Championships and IOWA has none. UCONN women's and men's (a 2x Championship team) play TEAM basketball.

Not me! Caitlin is not a team player and basketball is not golf, it's a team sport. She hasn't led her team to ONE National Championship and there are soooo many players as good as her who will be playing in college this year. CC was promoted because she's WHITE! We've always had players as good as her or better, but they're Black and never got the praise that she got. They are Maya Moore, Tina Charles, and Aaliyah Edwards to name a few.

@@amancalledhawk5575 , you are spot on. Plum didn't come into the league and set it on fire either. Plum has found her footing with Vegas and is flourishing at the 1 and 2 spot in their offense. Because of Clarks huge popularity in college I think way to many people have put too great of an expectation on her. So much so they are blaming the coach for not scheming an offense around her. People forget the Fever got Boston as the number 1 draft pick last year and they also have Smith. Lynn Dune said it after the draft , the brought in Clark to compliment those two due to Clarks great passing ability. If Clark can get her passing going, without all the turnover, and dish to Boston or Smith in the low post then team will loosen up the double teams on her which in turn will free her up to shoot and create off the ball. People just need to settle down and give her time to adjust to a whole new world of players, coaches, city and playing styles. I mean just look at Plum and Wilson, both number 1 draft picks, they have been in the league for several years now and just in the last couple have they really started to shine.

She is like a coach on the floor. Her teammates are slow and she is exposing them. Also, with a physical league who is bumping her all over the place, how the hell is Caitlin getting so many ticky tack fouls called on her and no fouls called against those bumping her. The only calls she gets is when she is hammered to the floor on a drive. Do not see this with any other player in the game. She is maintaining her cool throughout this BS initiation from both the refs and opposing players.

I think it is an easy fix too. When Boston rebounds or catches a pass, she either dribbles or brings the ball down to waist level. She should not do that. It gives the defense extra time to get their hands on the ball. She needs to catch and shoot whenever possible. Also, maybe lose a few pounds to get down the court faster. Those are both doable. Oh…and get the team a new coach.

Boston misses alot of close shots and doesn't get rebounds.
