It doesn't matter if you're gay or not - beautiful people are beautiful ^^ And I really enjoyed this video... I usually don't watch random reaction videos but this one stood out... RV is amazing and wether or not you'll do another video with RV you really have to listen to all the other MVs because every single is different and very special... That's the magic of Red Velvet ^^ Oh... and Wendy is THE most amazing singer of all korean girl groups...! And I know a lot of them...

Red Velvet actually has two concept in one. Red is for their intense music like their pop or upbeat and colorful songs like Ice Cream Cake. While Velvet is kind of explanatory like its where their ballad or soul or just their mature and dark tunes comes in like Psycho and Bad Boy. And its always fun to look forward for their comeback coz you never know what they might bring next yknow 😍

I love that she appreciated yeri's vocals throughout this video, she often gets labeled as a bad singer or weaker compared to the rest, and while the other members may have more powerful voices, she has such an interesting voice color, her low register is beautiful and she deserves 100% her spot in the group she adds a lot to their charisma

“Ice cream cake” isn’t actually their debut, but it is their first comeback with 5 members. They debuted as a 4 member group with “happiness” and yeri was added later because she was too young.

You're right about Happiness being the group's debut single, but even the girls themselves consider Ice Cream Cake as their debut because they welcomed Yeri as their new member. Even in one episode of Weekly Idol where there's this segment where they will reperform their past songs, they could've gone for Happiness but they chose Ice Cream Cake instead due to that reason.

also in peek-a-boo if you notice in the scene where hes trying to escape, in each shot a different girl is helping him run, which shows that this a scheme that they do a lot and they keep switching which girl has the role of pretending to run away with him so they can kill him. in some earlier scenes you can also see different pizza delivery shirts exhibited,, red velvet queens of creepy and eerie concepts

This song tells a story , at first Joy was the one who said "Psycho" and you can see her going around trying to corrupt the other members, Irene the one who said "Original Visual" is seen sewing outfits as a metaphor to trying to mend and save the relationship but at the end whoever tries to save the relationship gets hurt , in this case the last seen where they're all happy with the dresses Irene made but she got hurt and now she's going to be the psycho in the relationship, thus why she was the one to say it at the end.

Members in age of order in BAD BOY: 22:50 that's Irene she's the oldest in the group (30). Her positions are Leader,Main Rapper,Lead Dancer,Sub-Vocalist,Visual,Center. She's best friends with Jennie. 23:00 that's Seulgi she's 27 years old. Her positions are Main Dancer,Lead Vocalist. She's really good friends with Jisoo, Seulgi also knows how to play the guitar 23:20 that's Yeri she's the Maknae and she's 22 years old. Her positions are Sub-Rapper,Sub-Vocalist,Maknae. She's good friends with Rosé. Joined Red Velvet 8 months after they debuted (basically Happiness is their first song they put out as a 4 membered group but they claim Ice Cream Cake as their debut since Yeri joined them that era) 23:28 that's Joy she's 24 years old. @@Skilo1 she could if she was in other groups, cause she honestly is on the level of majority of main vocalists, but it's just not possible in RV when there's Wendy. the skill gap btw them is quite big that it'd be unfair to Wendy to give them the same title. Wendy is up there with 2nd gen main vocalists as a Proficient Vocalist, while Seulgi is an Average Vocalist which is where most vocalists stand (Jihyo, Jeongyeon, Sunny & Tiffany, Somin of KARD, etc..) but Seulgi is the best lead vocalist of 3rd gen, so she's the perfect match to Wendy who is the best main vocalist of the 3rd gen. Their positions are just perfect!

@@beth4420 it's not based on fanvotes, it's based on digital performance (highest criteria) then physical album sales, then voting. Dynamite was the biggest hit in Korea in 2020 it was everywhere with the most paks so obviously it won.

I remember hearing psycho for the first time without knowing who they were, and I also remember getting completely addicted to the song. I replayed it 20 times a day and that’s how I discovered red velvet so Im thankful. Today this song still gives me goosebumps

Red velvet is such an incredible group (named “the best idol group alive” by billboard) and their discography is one of the best in my opinion. Some recommendations for the second part: automatic, red flavour, Russian roulette, rbb and dumb dumb :)

Their debut was actually Happiness, released in 2014 but with only 4 members. Yeri joined in Ice Cream Cake (a few months after the debut). In the beginning of Happiness we can see some SM trainees, and Yeri was there too!

They filmed ICE CREAM CAKE in LA (2015)as well as PEEK-A-BOO. The house they were in is the same house from AMERICAN HORROR STORY. They’re basically serial killers HAHA! They practice on their killing ways and whenever there is a full moon, that’s when they do their killings. So they lure delivery guys (hence the missing poster) into their house. So that poor delivery boy was targeted from the very beginning and he kept coming to their house. 😂

girl, Kenzie's got the Midas touch. They have EXO's Monster, Obsession and Don't Fight the Feeling, Baekhyun's Candy, All I Got and Cry for Love, Taemin's Want, SuperM's One... Not even counting several other b-sides from said artists and other creations for NCT, Shinee, Twice. The list goes on. They have 3 sides "Velvet" wich is more r&b sound and more mature, "Red" is more upbeat, fun and youthful, and "Red Velvet" a combination of both wich can be an upbeat track with a dark concept.

If you react to them again one day, I suggest "Be natural". Their were still a four member group. The MV is purelly perfomanca and vocals. And ofcourse, pre-debut Taeyong from NCT and SuperM is featured in it. It's the first Red velvet song I really loved.

Ice Cream Cake is RV's inofficial debut song. they actually debuted in 2014 with the song Happiness as a four member group. the fifth member was added when they were promoting Ice Cream Cake, that's why it's labeled as their debut.
