YAY episode 3!! 🎉 - thank you to everyone that sent in requests for them! Had a blast getting to hear more red velvet songs! Sorry about the slight buzz in the sound. I was having a lot of sound issues with my mic In this series but this is way better than the one I was using in the first 2 episodes. I’m aware now that it was Irene doing the whistle note lol I thought it was Wendy and Irene but apparently it’s just all Irene 😭 okay queen! 👏🏽 Anyways! Zimzalabim for sure was not everyone's cup of tea when it came out. But later on with their R to V concert encore stage everyone got hyped up for mother Zimzalabim. It's a "cult" song for Reveluv's. 😁😉 Zimzalabim is kinda similar to "abracadabra". The whistle note on Really Bad Boy was actually Irene, everybody tried but leader Bae did it. 😁❤️

ZIMZALABIM IS A BOP IDCCCCCC. YOU GET IT CAITLIN. Also, I'm convinced there's drugs in Red Flavor. I'd say it's still my favourite Red Velvet title track and I had it on repeat for a solid month when I first heard it. My controversial opinion is that I like RBB more than Bad Boy lol. I think these songs are a very good sample of Red Velvet as artists, you've got Russian Roulette that consolidated their popularity in kpop (everyone and their mother was doing the dance even before tiktok), Red Flavour got them the title of summer queens (Red Flavour charts every summer after its release, the first 2 years after even in the top 10s), then you have ZZB that got them their experimental queens title and with RBB they consolidated as the top group vocally. Kingdome Come is definitely famous af to be a bside but imo their best bside is its cinic sister, In and Out

About Zimzalabim, unofficially our cult song (it's a meme XD), it's like a magic word like abracadabra. U definitely want to vibe to this song at their concert cuz everyone is chanting and the girls are having fun with it. The highlight of the concert probably in my opinion hahahaha XD

Zimzilabim was the first Red Velvet song I ever heard girl imagine how confused I was lmao still one of the best bridges to exist! In RBB when you thought it was Yeri- it was! It’s pronounced Yeh-ree (but if you wanna pronounce it with some ✨Korean spice✨ then the R in her name is pronounced with a tongue tap “D” sound) otherwise you can just say Yeh-ree 😊

imo eyes locked hands locked is their best bside but there are sooo many incredible tracks like perfect 10, day1, cool world, in my dreams, BAD DRACULA!! OMG- rv has truly THE best discography in kpop the variety is insane.. sm groups in general have such good ones but rv easily cleared whole kpop masterpiece after masterpiece

I still don't like Queendom or Feel My Rhythm lol, doesn't mean anything other than I don't connect with those particular songs. But oooohhhhhmygod, Red Flavor, Zimzalabim, Really Bad Boy - absolute bops!!! The scream/high note in Really Bad Boy was actually done by Irene! SM had all of the members try the scream and Irene's sounded the best in recording. And fun trivia. Irene's high note was a D7. This makes it the highest note ever recorded in kpop history.

Zimzalabim is like a magical word that one would say to complete a trick like abracadabra or alakazam, the word is comprised of 3 names Zim, Zala and Bim the trickster demons. And the High note was produce by there Leader and Main Rapper IRENE and based on the reactions it is aa D7 note.

I haven’t finished the video yet but I’m commenting to say I’m so damn happy you liked zimzalabim 😭😭😭 every time I see someone react to it I get flashbacks of fighting in the trenches defending it because it’s so good and FUN and soooo different to the kpop that was coming out at that time. to me, zimzalabim is a staple that shows just how different red velvet is to other kpop groups and how they come back with something unique every single time and UGH. imo it’s their sticker 😭 they’ll forever be my favorite girl group like honestly
