Puff pastry 400 gr / 14 oz.
20 cm / 8 inch shape.
2 tablespoons water and 2 teaspoons sugar.
Bake at 190°C / 175°F for 18-20 minutes.
4 eggs.
Separate the yolks from the whites.
Sugar 120 gr / 4 oz.
1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Cornstarch 45g / 1.5oz.
Milk 600 ml / 20 fl oz.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Cover with plastic wrap and let cool to room temperature.
4 egg whites.
Sugar 150 gr / 5 oz.
Beat for 5-6 minutes until consistency is achieved.
Divide the mixture between two 18cm diameter tins lined with baking paper.
Bake in a fan oven at 170°C / 340°F for 20-22 minutes.
