Jackfruit എന്ന പേര് വന്ന വഴി: മലയാളത്തിലെ ചക്കയെ പോർട്ടുഗീസുകാർ jaca എന്ന് വിളിച്ചു, അത് ഇംഗ്ലീഷിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ jackfruit ആയി.

അയാളുടെ ഹൈ value jackfruit 365 മേടിച്ചു കഴിക്കാതെ, നല്ല 2 or 3 vietnaam early gold പ്ലാവിൻ്റെ തൈകൾ വാങ്ങി വീട്ടിൽ വെച്ചുപിടിപ്പിച്ച് അതിൻ്റെ ചക്ക എല്ലാ മാസവും തിന്നുക. ഫൈബർ content നഷ്ടപ്പെടുകയില്ല. പൊടി ആകുമ്പോൾ അതിൽ metformin പോലുള്ള sugar കുറയ്ക്കുന്ന chemicals ചേരുമ്പോൾ അറിയാൻ പറ്റില്ല.

തിരുവനന്തപുരം ജില്ലയിൽ ചക്ക ധാരാളം ഉണ്ടാകുന്നുണ്ട്. അതിൽ നല്ല ശതമാനം ഉപയോഗിക്കാതെ പോകുന്നു. അതിന്റെ കാരണം മരത്തിൽ കയറി ചക്ക ഇടാനുള്ള സംവിധാനം ഇല്ല. അതിനു എന്തെങ്കിലും പരിഹാരം ഉണ്ടോ. കൂഴ veritey ചക്ക പഴം കഴിക്കാൻ ആർക്കും ഇഷ്ടമില്ല. കുഴിച്ചു കൂടുക ആണ് പതിവ്.
