In this video, I'll show you the proper way to change reagents and calibrate the Neptune Trident reef tank tester. There are a few techniques that are critical for successful calibration, and I share them here.

Would love to see a video on the Apex programming to reduce the amount of tests. Nicely done, informative video.

A good point was brought up on Reef2Reef. Make sure you either uncheck the previous selections you made while doing the calibration steps, or leave the page of the app in between each one. The reason is because the app doesn’t reset the options you select if you stay on the same page the whole time. This is a flaw in the app.

I actually never made that video, but I think I will! In order to customize your trident schedule, you will need a laptop or desktop computer, and log into apexfusion.com. Once logged in, go to the address bar and copy you id number (it will be in the address somewhere). What do you think is better Apex or hydros? I’m getting parts together for a 100 gallon and want a controller

I don't know much about the Hydros. I hear it is more user friendly for programming, but it may not be as customizable as the Apex. Though advertised, the Apex is not plug and play, imo and takes a few months to learn how to program and use it. But I like the Trident testing, and all the weird things I can program. There may be some more help on this on Reef2Reef. Take care!
