My lifetime idol right there !!! Merle's the man who inspired me and I think I sang just about everyone of this legendary man's songs. I feel like I won a lottery ticket finding this on KZfaq. One of the most important things I had on my bucket list, was to someday meet the man and sing a tune with him but, I guess this will be as close at it'll get to that ever happening. Still, I'm happy with just hearing him like this, just sitting in an easy chair in his home, doing what he does best. Ray

Fantastic, Merle, keep up the GREAT work. Tell Scotty, Jeff, Kevin, Benny, Don, Norm, Doug, Tim, etc., howdy. I know you've heard it before, but you're just like a fine wine... you get better with age. Hope things are treating you well down there in Palo Cedro. Salud from Central Oregon.

I really enjoy hearing you by yourself with the acoustic! Not that the telecaster and The Strangers isn't awesome too, but this feels very personal. Keep on turning out the old tunes and the new!
