Btw, my bent-arm handstand is a bit of struggle at 00:16 eh? I need to work on that move again so it's not so sloppy :)

Great suggestions! I also recommend a yoga mat, if you're living in a space with hardwood/laminate - makes ground work a lot more enjoyable and less of a pain in the back! Another suggestion are push-up bars. Find sturdy ones with a comfortable grip that allow you to extend your reps for more of a stretch in the pecs.

Loving your channel content thank you. I made the decision 4 months ago my life needed to change. I started keto (dirty keto) and to my astonishment I’m now nearly 4 stone weight lost. I’m in the lower 14 stone range now and looking to start conditioning my body and have been going through your beginner vids 👍. One of my problems is my lower 2 discs in my spine are deteriorating so I’ve got to be careful but that isn’t going to stop me. I’ve already started DDP yoga (bed to chair workouts currently in week 3) to start getting my body used to moving more. On my list to work towards purchasing is the duonamic eleviia so I can start doing some hangs and beginners stuff and some dip bars. I’ve been looking at the style you recommended and I’ve got them on my list. I’m also next year going to look towards getting an outdoor galvanised pull up station or the pull up mate 2 but they’re along way off yet depending on my progress. I’ve already got some resistance bands so maybe adding some assistance bands to the list along the way. Thanks for your content it helps a lot 👍

I didn't buy most of these, but that was because I didn't see this video or know of the channel at the time. I started buying home gym equipment in Jan, for the winter months when I didn't have time or the desire to go out again in the freezing cold. I did buy variations, a dip station etc. and free weights and I have found them more challenging than using machines at the gym, for all the obvious reasons. Love the channel and the advice. No one needs a gym now, or ever, imo.

Just got a set of rings and in my opinion, they are the best bang for you buck piece of equipment you can get. You can do all the basics on them (pull ups, dips, push ups, rows) and they are also useful for a lot of other things. I even hang some resistance bands from them and they are great for tricep pushdowns.

The bosu ball is good for beginners that aren’t ready for the stability challenge of the rings it’s a happy medium if you flip it upside down. You could also add it with the rings for pushups feet on the bosu and hands on the rings

I realize this video has been around a long time but it’s new to me. BOSU, BOSU, more BOSU! I use it upside down for a bit of a challenge but the key IMO is using only one leg. Great for stabilizer muscles and balance while doing squats, kicks, lunges, really any exercises.

Try doing some single leg deadlifts using like a 22kg kettlebell on the bosu, flat side up! ...or a parter toss each standing on the bosu and toss a med ball or slam ball between each of you! .. Also missed a few good ones...like the jumprope, powerblocks, and an adjustable step up bench!

You are way more into it than me. I’m a bigger guy...about 210-220 at any given time. Shade under 6 ft tall. I stick to the basics. pushups, sometimes with push-up bars, chin-ups on the Iron Gym, high rep bw squats. Switch out pushups for dips and chins for bw rows for variety. Squats are a staple. Do use “the wheel” on occasion.

I know I am late to the party - just found the channel. You said you don't recommend the bosu ball, but I would like to make a recommendation for it. They are great for stability, specifically squats if you flip it over and stand on the flat side. It was a recommended exercise by a physical therapist when I had severe knee pain (won't bore people with the details). The balancing adds a nice challenge to body weight squats as well, teaching even pressure between each leg as well as heel to toe. Love the videos! Keep up the good work and great content!

A door jamb is the vertical section of a door frame, which acts as a support for the remainder of the frame, as well as the door itself. Each frame has two jambs. The hinge jamb is the side where the hinges are installed, and the strike jamb is the side where the locking mechanism latches into the strike. The jambs are also used to mount the frame to the surrounding wall. The horizontal member that connects the two jambs is called the head. www.wisegeek.com/what-is-a-door-jamb.htm#didyouknowout
