I think this was a really cool opportunity for her, but if you want my honest opinion on the song then I'd have to say that the girly/idol voice she used for it doesn't really fit with the theme of the anime. It's got the same vibe as how she sang for the Alternative video; very cute and cheerful, which is kinda off-putting when blood and bullets are flying around lol. Happy for her, but I wish she went with more of her natural voice.

This is so awesome, I’m incredibly happy for her. From what we heard in the trailer, the song sounds amazing as well. Hopefully those that can appreciate the song and hard work she’s put in will drown out those who have a strange hate boner for her. Ah, this moment was worth staying awake in est time. Seeing all the hard work done by Cali over the years made this part of the stream so exciting. Fubuki and Matsuri had a cameo as themselves (popping up on a TV in the show) in "The detective is already dead." Nene voiced a minor character in "The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in a Different World as an Aristocrat." Subaru, Aqua and Nene (performing as the group NEGI☆U) sang an ending song for "The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!" There may be others - those are just from the anime I have seen.

Let's f****ing goooo I realize this comment is 2 weeks old so apologies lmao Wow Calli really has been killing it with all these recent collabs,endeavors but not gonna lie seeing Calli now performing ending theme songs for animes (hoping this is the first of many to come) is very awesome to see. Even if I haven't been really active much in her community aside from watching her VODs from time to time and been following her since her Hololive debut it's so awesome to see Calli getting more recognition she truly deserves (outside the typical weeb, anime culture stigma Vtubers face sometimes). Mashle is a mediocre anime and Creepy Nuts has gotten a hit with the opening. Working on an OP or ED is extremely important even when the anime is not good, even more so for someone like Calli who is relatively new to the industry. This is just a first step that can open new doors for her.
