Good tips! I recently bought the Manfrotto 645 Alu Fast but with the Nitrotech Series 608 head. I must say that it is really good, well built, quick to use and with smooth movements.

Hey Devin! Thanks for sharing this video as it looks like Manfrotto is doing some interesting things the angles where you can lock the legs into place to get those lower shots. I hate using the snap in support rods 🙄

Thanks, Devin. Great advice! If I may add? When I travel with my tripod, I use an SKB golf club case like this: amzn.to/3p6ZQa7 Can't beat having wheels! Very durable and never had anything broken inside. Plus there is plenty of room for small lights and stands, reflectors, etc. I travel all over the country with it. I still have my Bogen 3246 tripod with Bogen 3063 fluid head after more than 30 years. Vitek bought Bogen along with Manfrotto (and Gitzo) a number of years ago, they have shared the Manfrotto name ever since. They are terrific tripods and heads. I use Manfrotto with my still camera work as well. Can't beat them.
