To be fair Cami won the match and plus everyone on tour seems to love Ons. I'm sure at the quarter-finals whatever the result, we'll see the classic Giorgi handshake again lol. Either way it's still a rare moment in tennis when Giorgi gives a warm handshake so I'll enjoy it while I can haha

Wow! This is the first time I've seen Camila Giogi hit the ball with both power and precision so consistently. She is such a great mover around the court and a real delight to watch when she's playing this well.

Giorgi is legit one of my favorite players on the tour and gets the speedy award from me. She’s the quickest mover in my opinion. You can see her footwork moving like lighting fast.

A lot of people don't know that Camila as a child was an excellent artistic gymnast with very severe Russian coaches. She was so good that she was under observation from the Italian olympic gymnastic officials. Eventually she decided to concentrate on tennis. This also explains her startling fitness and quick court movements.

I would also say, British tennis commentators are the best, especially on radio. If you ever really want to hear a game called blow by blow correctly, just tune into the radio commentary for Roland Garros or Wimbledon. Amazing.

Finally, Giorgi is incorporating more finesse and touch into her game. She packs a nice punch with her groundstrokes but isn't very consistent, which is why she loses more than she should, imo. Great match from her here.

Camila has begun to take her time in rallies and not rushing things in this tournament. She's actually putting in a lot of work with regards to her game which is good to see.

Camila certainly looks pretty in peach! And THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is the kind of match we expect from such a gifted player yet so rarely see. Shoulda been a Top 10 talent for years. Instead, poorly coached and devoid of a sound strategic approach, we've gotten nothing but mixed results and thwarted potential. You looked awfully good here, Camila. And appreciate the nice exchange at the net. Can it be that even you respect Ons the way all the other WTA players do? But frankly, surprised that Ons was finished in straight sets. Where she at??

So weird that a match like this Isn't on the centre court. The WTA event is a stacked 500 event whereas the ATP is a pretty average 250 and yet they split the centre court time 50/50.
