I wouldn’t want to be wild camping with 2 little kids as you always need to be able to drive off quickly. You never know what is going to happen. We were out in our van today testing a new tarp awning in the pouring rain. The weather was miserable so perfect for the test. We were all alone when we arrived and then half an hour later about 8 cars turned up and set up a large camp. We finally gave up and moved off after they started playing cricket right by the van in the driving rain. No problem as it takes just a few minutes to pull down the tarp and go but you don’t need that hassle with kids on board. 👍

Thanks. You can take photos but they are not as good as you could take with your phone. Video is its strong point.

Never say never on changing the van. Time will tell on that one but we are very happy with what we have. We will never become full timers as we would always want a home to return to should something like the virus strike again. We are always glad to go away and glad to get back home after a trip. We enjoy the space in the house until we get stir crazy again and need to go on the road again. Each trip is therefore a holiday from normality. If we were full time I would be worried about losing that special feeling.

I use Lumafusion on a 12.9 ipad pro. It also works on an iphone but is a bit cramped to use.
