In this video we're off to the CAMC 'pop up' site at Holkham Hall in Norfolk.
We take you on great walks around the amazing estate which is owned by the Earl of Leicester. We notice though, that other than the walks, everything else comes at a price!!
Also in this video
A quick look at Filby in bloom. A local village that we pass through often on our caravan trips away.

Helen looked fab in that hat and her jacket is lovely too. The Earl of Leicester is the President of the CAMC I think. Wow that restaurant knows how to charge< I'd love to be wealthy enough to consider that menu reasonable :D

Hi Dave and Helen, Yes, another good one. You could not have caught the bird chorus any better 😊 We think that must have been ghost ship heaven for you. Helens' hat looked really stylish. Didn't realise Adams was that strong 😂🥱. Maybe it was a bit pricey but did look really nice, if you enjoyed it then its worth it 👌 PS the dash cam is really good quality compared to my nextbase 312. Congratulations 6000 subs, brilliant channel Dave & Helen. Filby looks fantastic and well done to the locals and residents for all their hard work with the gardens and flowers. Holkham is a beautiful estate and my goodness deep pockets are required. I have to say it is a bit special and of course it’s not far from Sandringham just up the road. Hi guys how strange today comments are available to me again. Thanks for the facebook response. Great video as always, dash cam looks really good. Filby looks beautiful. The Estate and walk to the beach look brilliant our little Jack Russell would love it. The pop up is pricey but I suppose it’s not cheap to set up. Really appreciate your channel, thank you.

Hi Dave and Kathy, a nice look around Holkam Estate, loved the baby birds being fed by mum, great slow motion footage. Seemed a little pricey but I suppose understandable as you are on the Estate. A bit different and not too far to travel again which is good for a quick getaway. Lovely Hall and estate, albeit a bit pricey. You are so lucky to live on such a lovely stretch of coast with its many sites 👍. You must have stayed at them all now surely? 😁 Nice hat Helen and fancy dashcam Dave, I like the internal camera. North Norfolk is Katie’s favourite coastline and we visit Wells quite often in our Basecamp 2. We were there at the beginning of July (blowing a hooly all weekend). We walked on the coastal path to Holkham beach before walking up the road to the Victoria for a well earned beer…only to be told it’s not a pub but that we could sit down and have a meal! Two very disgruntled goons were later to be found walking back to Pinewoods via The Lookout for coffee and cake! 😕

Hi sorry to hijack Helen and dave but what are your feelings on your basecamp? We have a 7.4m bailey and tow with either our kuga or vw t5 camper. We are considering a change to a basecamp 2 as there is just the 2 of us and our dogs 🐕

Hi D & H, I'm having a good few days away in the caravan, a nice quiet little site near Folkestone called 'The Chequers' they sadly don't have showers but do have toilets (2 each) £18 p/n, most pitches are set around the outside of a small field with kids play area in the centre, it has an Anson point for toilet waste, other grey waste is allowed to ground into bushes to rear of pitches, there is a CCC site about 2 ½ miles down the road (Black Horse Farm' which has a pub and shop close by, sadly not being a member I've never stayed here. There's the BoB memorial close by to visit, along with the BoB museum at Hawkhinge, Folkestone town centre, and harbour is but a short drive away, if shopping is required there's a Tesco express in the village of Hawkhinge or a Lidl just off main Hawkhinge by pass. Hi Neil, that sounds like a great find and a decent price. We've been to a few sites that ask you to dump the grey waste in the bushes. BoB memorial & museum is an added bonus as is being close to the shops too. Hope the weather is behaving itself. Enjoy! Dave & Helen.

Great vlog as always, that Dashcam looks the biz and has good reviews, great for your Youtubing but too pricey for normal use for me I’m afraid ( so I have been told…). Holkham seems to know how to price things up it seems, though will maybe go there next year, looks quiet and close to Wells too, so more likely to spend hard earned dosh there. Congrats on passing 6K subs , great channel growing generically without cheating , massive respect for the effort. Holkham is a great spot , but we are bias as we are just high on the Kingdom of Norfolk. We went to the Victoria for our 30th Anniversary Dinner in May, they treated us like royalty. Pop up’s are a bit expensive but location is everything. Love the hat Helen . That was a lovely video thanks for sharing H and M.
