CAMPING IN MINNESOTA WITH OUR ROCKWOOD GEO PRO 19BH BY FOREST RIVER | MAPLEWOOD STATE PARK

Recently we purchased a Forest River Rockwood Geo Pro 19BH Travel Trailer. The Geo Pro is a great smaller trailer that tows easily behind a midsize truck such as our Ford Ranger. The Rockwood Geo Pro 19BH has a dry weight of 3,209 pounds with a hitch weight of 425 pounds. Additionally, the Geo Pro is 20 feet 2 inches long and 7 feet 8 inches wide. The Geo Pro has some nice features such as a 190w solar panel mounted on the roof, a large awing and extra cargo space.
Our first camping trip in the Geo Pro was to Maplewood State Park in western Minnesota. Maplewood State Park has eight lakes and several ponds, with rolling hills in a hardwood forest. Maplewood State Park encompasses 9,250 acres in Otter Tail County with an extensive trail system for hiking, horseback riding and cross-country skiing. The park is host to over 150 bird species and 50 species of mammals. At the beginning of the video, you will hear the common loon, which is the state bird of Minnesota.

Cool solar features on the trailer. The outside shower is a nice feature but suppose the storage is the best practical aspect. Beautiful shots of the lake. Those reflections are amazing. I wholeheartedly congratulate you and your wife on your purchase of a great new camper, and I'm even envious. With roof-mounted solar panels, the cabin of the camper is extremely practical and has some nice features. And on our first camping trip, the lake scenery and pristine nature of Maplewood State Park in western Minnesota was truly spectacular. I envy you and your wonderful couple enjoying camping! And the squirrel that stayed on the tire for a while was also nicely captured!!!

The park looks so beautiful. The garter snake was a cool sighting and the chipmunk was cute. Loons on the lake are always beautiful to hear.

I was so happy when I was able to catch the loons calling to each other on the lake. That is one sound that I always love to hear. The snake was polite and stayed still just long enough for me to get a few sections of video and yes chipmunks are always cute! Thanks so much!

I was so excited when I was able to capture the loons calling to each other on camera. It is one of my favorite sounds here in Minnesota. And yes those chipmunks are stinkers! It jumped up into our engine compartment twice and we finally had to chase it away. We are looking forward to an upcoming trip with the new trailer. We are heading to the Black Hills soon.
