Camping in my Car

On this adventure I spend the night sleeping in my car, cooking up some delicious food and have a fun, relaxing time. The morning brings heavy rain and wind, but I am well protected and enjoy the sound of rain pelting the roof while cooking up a yummy breakfast.

Wow, BK, lots of new gizmos in the SUV! Ceiling lights, fan, power block, light-blocking window panels etc. Very cool. Also some innovative filming techniques (following the usb connector into the socket, back seat cam view of driving away and some others). Your improvisation even extends to throwing your supper together! Fun time, thanks for posting. As always, great content, production, quality and especially presentation. Cheers!

It's been ages since you went car camping. My mouth was salivating. Not at the thought of sausage and veg, but I imagined that container was full of real new zealand butter. Yummmm. Loved the little folding table. Finding inexpensive, small cooking equipment is a hobby of mine. Cheers with coffee and cake BCK :)

Great stuff. Makes me want to kit out the Surf - it's quite roomy in there with the seats down. Super easy to take a quick break for sure so thanks for the ideas and your lighting is fantastic - remote controlled to boot! How do you get on with cooking ventilation when it's hosing down? Thanks

Thanks mate. The surf would be awesome to set up. Ventilation is fine, I've got weather shields on my windows so I can still leave them cracked. I also have a carbon monoxide detector to monitor the levels inside while I'm cooking. Cheers.

Thanks! Thick card stock that I covered with book cover duraseal and spray painted black. They are almost 1.5 years old and are holding up great! Cheers

I made them. Heavy duty cardboard and duraseal and spray paint haha. They have held up well. Cheers
