Dude, this needs to be a series. Plan multiple flights and solo camping trips. Do it in remote locations. Definitely get a Garmin satellite phone. I would love it if you attempted this and you could snatch up people searching for solo camping vids. P.S. Get a DJI Mini drone to do some air shots when camping to add some killer visuals. I’m not a paramotoror, (my word), but I’ve been following you a long time. I really loved the Icarus series and this conjures up some of that spirit. I used to do a lot of solo wilderness hiking and backpacking and boating to islands like this. Nothing is better for the soul and a great sense of accomplishment. This would be great content for the uncut channel as well. More please! A one off comment: your fire looked awfully close to your tent!

Add a few condiment squeeze packs to the cooler next time. A little mustard for the brats, or some Taco Bell Diablo sauce for the morning eggs, and they take almost no space while weighing next to nothing! Some camp cooking gear can be had very small and very light.

Awesome video! Looks like a fun little dispersed camping excursion that would have been almost impossible to reach without a paramotor. One little safety tip for future trips: having extra space between your campfire, tent and paramotor never hurts, even if it seems highly unlikely anything bad would happen. Fires tend to suddenly let off huge floating cinders that travel several meters, and you wouldn't want your tent, precious paramotor gear, or the gas tank to be its landing spot. In your video, the fire seemed closer to all of your stuff than I would be comfortable with.

I camped out on Minisink Island some years back and had a black bear walk into the camp site in the wee hours of the night. He was growling and making a lot of noise, but luckily, I survived.

I’ve hiked the entire Appalachian trail and Pacific Crest Trail, but I am jealous of this. This would be a dream to fly to a camp spot.

General rule of thumb when gathering fire wood. When you think you've gathered enough to get you through the night. Get 5 times more. This is really only important if you were going to camp for more than 1 night and if it is during a time of year that can get cold. Advise from the great Les Stroud. The real Survivorman (not me, obviously).

Man, I'm so into camping and bushcraft type stuff, I watch all the videos. But this video is so original, never seen anything like this, so cool! You need to do this some more.

Paramotor camping is definitely something I'd like to do. 👍 In return for all the paramotor knowledge you dish out in your videos I'm going to _try_ to repay you a little bit in campfire cooking knowledge... When cooking over a campfire you don't want to cook over the fire itself - you want to cook over the hot coals. Shift the wood around to give yourself clear access to the coals or move a pile of coals away from the fire itself. When you cook over coals you can get much more even heat which will result in less overcooked and undercooked food. Cooking over a the flame of a campfire creates too much flux in temperature and makes it incredibly hard to cook your food evenly. For the best results when cooking directly over a campfire you want to do it the same way you would when you grill over charcoal. Hopefully this simple tip might produce even better food from your next round of campfire cooking. 🍻
