Really enjoyed hearing the live commentary from both players. What I especially appreciate about Marcos is that he minimizes negative self-talk. Yeah, he occasionally gets frustrated with a bad shot or the tough conditions, but he is also quick to acknowledge good shots by Karue and and thinks constructively about how he can adapt his strategy and tactics. Even though Marcos is a touring pro, I think players of all levels could benefit from this. Thanks for a great vid, Karue!

Why is this just soooo dang good? Top level pro hitters, at a NORMAL court angle like we are used to seeing. You pick up way more at this viewpoint. The sound at contact, the movement on the ball- you just can't see this in a Televised match because of the angles and such. This is brilliant and I can watch this all day.

I mean its fair to say that he might be unranked player now but his career high is 371 ATP, in 2019 on ITF he won 2019 against Peniston or Lama, which are good challenger level players. Before that in 2017 and 2018 he won 3 ITF titles + he played plenty of challengers. He has beaten a lot of other good players (like Moraing, Rybakov, Blanch, Eubanks, Uchida. Riffice, Crawford, etc.), which we can see on challenger and ITF tour today regularly. He has experience of about 100 matches on the professional ITF and ATP challenger tour. So hes not any random tennis player.

Just want to add appreciation for this content, really interesting to hear professional players (or tour-caliber players) comment on in-game stuff like serve placements, expected serves, point strategies, etc. Reminds me of that long video Federer put out 4 or 5 years ago practicing with Lucas Pouille -- lots of commentary on his mindset during play, and even though it's practice among pros, all of us can gain insight from their process. Anyway, thanks for the content, both of you.

Probably the best tennis content channel out there. Also, this video with Giron commentary involved too from the perspective of an ATP Pro is insane. Keep up the great work with the channel.

That's really the biggest difference in the skill levels of any sport. Every level up is a bit faster and faster and faster. Nice to have a current pro on your channel. Obviously Marcos didn't put all the meat in the oven...but it's been interesting. I am amazed about some comments regarding your come back to the tour...as if playing well in a "very friendly" set against a pro means anything...Maybe you can explain how difficult and expensive is just "to try"...by starting to play futures almost every week, and maybe some challenger if you are a very good shape...just to luckily break even if you are the ranked about 300-400 in the world...(what it is very complicated).

Hey Karue, A few observations: 1. You hit a few balls to the middle of the court (which you already acknowledged). That isn't a bad thing if you're under pressure, although if you have time, it's a different story. I call these discretionary shots. For me, discretionary shots should always be hit to the corner where your opponent is not. Make them run / try to damage the opponent. It's easy to say, but people are not robots. That's why the practice court is used; you hit 1,000 shots to build the muscle memory, so that when you need it, it's there (as close to being a robot as you can get). 2. I noticed a lot of second serves from MG didn't have a lot of speed on them. Is that normal? 3. What date should I put on the calendar for your return to active competition?
