Yeah I agree - dudes on most hair loss forums are pretty negative about it all. Everything you said is key - getting your shit together (looking good, grooming yourself, hitting the gym, losing weight if you're fat, dressing better, working on your self-confidence) is infinitely more important than, "Does this guy have hair?"

There are ways to stop or reverse it, like finasteride and hair transplants. They obviously come with risks and costs but it's an option for guys who really don't want to be bald.

Dude I started buzzing my head at 21 (I’m 26 now) and I started goin to this little community college and I had women all over me. Keep in mind I’m 6’1 maybe 6’2 and 270 lbs. idk what it is but I had more women look at me and notice me. Which everybody has their own preferences but if you like someone you like someone some people have crazy standards lol.

@@Jack-ns9sz it just sucks. Hair gives you character. Rocking a bald head is not for everyone. If it was easy everyone would be rocking the shave head. Reality is, you are much better looking with hair. Period Hair also gives you comfort protection from sun and protection overall. Also the razor shaved head is weird feeling. Having said that, you just stop caring as you get older. People around you with hair will age faster. You can look younger as you get older. So with time it will get better. It is brutal loosing your hair in you teens and 20s. It just sucks.

While I agree with everything you say to an extent, it still doesn't mean that hair loss is not the natural state of affairs. It's a natural part of aging for many men. It's the fact that we live in a society that is so fixated on being young and meeting certain standards of "beauty" that is the problem. No one is worth less due to their lack of hair and people shouldn't be made to feel like they are personally deficient.

Since shaving my head I have had more success with women and it's made no difference at all. Maybe I just have a good head for it. But there are plenty of women who like bald guys. Don't make the mistake of thinking that the women across cultures are more different than women inside cultures. Most of what you're seeing is conditioning. I was born and raised in Australia. The women in Australia are conditioned to expect men to be masculine and physical, because Australia is a country with lots of tradesmen and miners. London, however, has very few tradesmen and miners in comparison, so women expect men there to be a little less physical, a little more intellectual/educated, etc. Being bald is just a signifier of masculinity and physicality (because of its association with combat and combat sports) so places where women are conditioned to like overt macho masculinity, these men do better.

I got punched in the face every couple of weeks, so my mother is white she didn't understand so I couldn't tell anyone especially not the school teacher cause the guys would bash me later. So I had to play football for the school and cricket so people could see I'm not disgusting. So I had to learn about styles and everything cause people think school is about technology but there is more to it. Get scalp micropigmantion that might make you look like you are fashionable. Get on earring in your nose. Sometimes you have to try how do you think it was for me at school.

@FANGBUNNY when I was at school girls hated me because of my colour so I just got better at sports and styles and times changed in the 70s racism was still there for some but I hung out with one black Aboriginal guy and a big fat white guy and we just went and did things like fishing and other things and people would talk to us and I didn't even know that girls liked me because I was Nevel Nobody. But friends would tell me. I still didn't believe it but I found out it was true. So you got to play a sport or be apart of a team and keep up with the styles. If you lived in Sydney Australia I would show you what to do. Because all my friends are younger because I'm a personal Muay Thai and Boxing and Martial Arts Trainer and manager as I had the first Muay Thai gym in NSW I spoke to Asians because I went through what they went through so we started the gym together.
