Here's my opinion: No one is fully bald. What we're talking about in most cases is partial baldness. So now that I got that out of the way, if you are partially bald, you have three choices. 1. Leave it as is. 2. Shave your head. No matter what anyone says, a clean shaved head looks 100% better than a partially bald head. If you are partially bald, shaving your head is a no brainer. 3. Hair transplants. For the time being, I'm choosing to shave my head but I'm getting hair transplants in September (2024). Note: I'm 53.

I have been using a razor for years , I brought a pitball pro about 3 weeks ago I use it every 2 days and it is pretty good it is never going to be as close as a blade but it is pretty close , no cuts or nics much cleaner to use , I have only used it dry so far if I use the foil attachment as well it is very smooth

AS A PROUD BALD DUDE, I have been shaving my head for the last 10 years....... I would rather be bald than to do the whole 'egg with a skirt on it' look. Friends (YES I have some) tell me I am lucky, I have a good head for being bald. They actually tell me I look YOUNGER as a bald guy (and yes, some of my friends are women). So I have confidence in shaving my 'dome' every other damn day !!!!

The biggest problem with baldness is it denies you choice. It denies you the ability to style your hair - with hair, you can have many styles. Bald is bald. It also denies you every look except the masculine look. Square jaw, good beard, muscles, wide shoulders, tall. Some men look great like this (the channel owner, for example, rocks this look). Some women prefer this to to many other looks. Some women prefer bald guys. But the thing is, that baldness is a condition that locks you out of every other niche. You can look at Timothée Chalamet, the newest hot guy women are fawning over. He can go for the pretty twink boy look. Get rid of his hair, and he can no longer pull this look off. He can still reinvent himself and look good and be successful, but just by losing his hair the look he currently has would be forever unattainable for him. So my point is not that baldness is the end of the world, neither it is that bald people do not deserve happiness or mates or anything. But my point is that you _should_ try to save your hair with everything you can. Minoxidil, DHT-blockers, hair systems, transplants, etc. Simply because it allows you to have _choice._ Side note: thinning and balding is definitely a worse look than a shaven head or a buzz-cut. So, yeah if you're badly thinning, get a buzz-cut or an outright shave. But you should still not waste your time with saving and recovering your hair. The sooner you get on DHT blockers the more hairs you'll save, and the more hair you can hope to regrow.

If you want the best bald result, you need to use a single-bladed double edge razor, end of story. I’ve tried all these electric head shavers, as well as foil shavers and cartridge razors, and none of them work like a double edge razor. Get yourself a Rockwell 6S razor, start on setting 2, with a pack of blades and a basic soap and brush….within 4-6 shaves or so you’ll have it dialled and will enjoy cut-free, irritation free shaves that a truly baby butt smooth, with no redness or irritation or tenderness that you get from rubbing an electric shaver over your skin again and again and again in the pursuit of a smooth finish that will never come. Plus, with a double edge razor shave, the smooth feeling lasts a lot longer so you’ll be shaving less often in order to maintain a clean fresh bald look. Love the channel and the content, but there are better ways to get a super smooth bald look, would love to see you delve into some of them…electric is NOT the best option out there.

I still can't shake off that complex i had all the years i was bald 30+ to be exact .i recently made a good comeback getting my old hair grafts revived and more hair grew .i only wished in the late 80's when i was in my teens that finasteride and oral minoxidil was available .this combination did wonders for me .still i didn't regain that macho self esteem that i had before i lost it how to approach women . Overall i just comfortable in my own shin now not having to cover up my hideous look of my thinned out grafts from the 90's with wearing baseball caps

I'm disappointed. This is not cleaning, just taking the cover off and throwing away the hair from the tray. This much everyone can do. However, it is not enough anymore after a few months - the blades hardly move/cut and drain the battery hard while doing it. The heads are clogged with small particles of hair. Cleaning would mean to remove that stuff blocking the heads...and not this

Would love a video on how to oil the blades.

Leaving a channel on this video as I found it when trying to problem solve my Remington RX5. It was making stuttering and skipping noises and eventually would turned itself off. Eventually you need to clean it right down to the individual component level. When looking at the blades from the inside you should be able to see light shine through. If you don't its probably clogged. Essentially over time (or through shaving longer hairs) the area immediately within the blades gets clogged up with micro hairs, oil, skin debris etc. I wont go into detail in how to disassemble it but I will say that every single component of the rx5's main removal blade array is removable. That means every single little bit of plastic. I was able to pry each micro blade part out by punching it out with my thumb and some force. Be careful as some of the plastic clips are quite small and I think I lost one in the process. Then each micro blade component can again be dissasembled if you take your time to study it. I would advise people to maybe soak it in hot water to make the plastic more pliable. Also the middle blade component is inserted from the top down after lateral blade component is clipped back in. Sorry to hijack comments but I just want to help others through this ballache.

Dose using the foam take it down to the skin or do you still have a bit of stubble?

That's not cleaning but washing it😂 its much more complex than that especially after longer usage.
